Welcome to our website!

Born Trevor James Mair on the 26 May 1972. Trevor was raised in the little seaside town of Cullen, Moray in Scotland. Cullen was made famous for its famous soup Cullen Skink. Trevor James, as he is now known, attended Cullen Primary School & later went on to Buckie High School. After leaving school Trevor picked up the trade of panel Beating and Paint Spraying and his first full time job was at Buckie Body Shop. This job lasted for many years but the temptation to entertain was boiling up in him. He had his first taster of entertaining when he did his first public performance in the early 1990's on board a ferry between Dover and France, in front of a group of christian friends, and that was him hooked. Singing songs in public eventually became his sole profession.

After returning, he joined up with local band Sunset. He perform set at each of their gigs and this lasted a year. He sang with a band in Birmingham called The Stargazers and then moved on to developing his solo Elvis Tribute set. The popularity of this show was beyond belief for Trevor James and he found himself
working 3 gigs in one night in some cases.

Trevor James returned to Moray and team up with a visiting American aviator, Lt Dave Platt, who was based at Lossiemouth, and they formed the core of what was to become a seven piece band called American Trilogy. The emphasis being on performing Elvis songs.

Having had many different jobs, it wasn't till late 1999 that he considered going full time as a solo vocalist. He has never looked back on this decision and still enjoys it as much as the day he first started singing in public.Trevor James moved away from the Elvis show and went onto being a successful country singer performing songs made famous by the likes of Johnny Cash, Charley Pride, Charlie Rich, George Jones, Jerry Lee Lewis, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, plus many more of you country stars.

The country show consists of good ole country songs such as Crystal Chandeliers, Behind Closed Doors, Sunday Morning Coming Down, Good Time Charlie's Got The Blues, Good Old Boys and Swinging Doors, etc.

From humble beginnings in the Scottish coastal town of Cullen, Trevor James has steadily increased his following and today is popular throughout the UK. His style of traditional country blended with his gospel roots and the influence of Elvis on his career, gives his music a unique style that offers something for everyone.

A cabaret solo vocalist,or with band, Trevor James is willing to travel to any area or venue, and has the charisma and talent that appeals to all ages and is guaranteed to captivate his audience with every performance he gives.
